As many as 85% of working Poles experience stress at work – the most recent study conducted by Klosterfrau Healthcare Group revealed such results. We can read about it in Gazeta Wyborcza.
The results of the study entitled “Stress at Work – Report by Melisana Klosterfrau” show that only 11% of workers treat their job as a fulfilment of their wishes and a source of pleasure; for over 60% of employees work means a way to earn for a living. The highest percentage of Poles reporting stress at work live in Warsaw, and as many as 94% of the working citizens of Warsaw experience such stress.
Poles most often complain of exhaustion caused by work overload (55% of respondents). A great number of workers also suffer from uncomfortable conditions at work – tiring noises and excessively high or low temperatures (43%). Twenty-five per cent of respondents admit that they experience stress due to the necessity to work overtime.
The results of the study “Stress at Work – Report by Melisana Klosterfrau” show that for 69% of Poles the most common ailments associated with performed work are: fatigue, backache (42%) and headache (40%). Problems with falling asleep appear in 22% of the Polish society, and stomachache – in 17%.
However, Poles are not helpless against stress. They look for relaxation in various ways. Many people walk in the fresh air (26%) or smoke a cigarette (23%).
What do Poles dream about? They dream about increased pay (44%), shortened and regulated work hours (14%) and better working conditions (4%).
