The results of dieticians’ tests are clear – 55 % of our daily calories should come from meals eaten at work. The regularity of meals is also important, with breakfast, dinner and tea eaten at 2-3 hour intervals.
These results concerns people who work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The dieticians assume that breakfast and supper are eaten at home, and dinner at the company canteen or somewhere in the city.
According to the dieticians, the required daily number of calories should be divided into five meals, keeping the following proportions:
Breakfast 25%
Morning break 10%
Dinner 35%
Tea 10%
Supper 20%
What is important is that meals at work should be planned, not involving eating anything at any time. The way we eat and what we eat influences our intellectual efficiency. The dieticians try to convince us that it is best to eat meals every two or three hours.
A lot of people confirm that regular eating not only improves ones mood and effectiveness at work, but it also helps to lose excess weight. Applying this rule and eating in a healthy way allows us to lose between ten and twenty kilograms in half a year, certainly within a year.
