How to do the exercises: - As often as you can
- As carefully as you can - after all you do them for your own health
- Concentrate on what you do
- You do not need to do the exercises in the order in which they are presented
While you are exercising:
- Concentrate on relaxing your muscles. When you feel your muscles relax, gradually increase your stretch. Do not stretch to the point of pain. Overstretching and pain may cause unnecessary stress. Regular stretching exercises during the working day, not only alleviate tension, but also increase general adaptability to work. As a result, they will reduce the risk of overstraining your muscles and ligaments,
- Always adjust the intensity of stretching exercises to your possibilities. Stretching is an individual matter. Nobody should be forced to do exercises only because somebody else can do them.
- As you do the exercises, only stretch your muscles until you feel an easy tension-stretch and relax a little afterwards. Breathe normally as you do the exercises. Do not hold your breath.
